The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission IEBC of Kenya has approved Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga to Run for presidency. This will be Mr. Odinga's fifth attempt at becoming Kenya's fifth president. Mr Odinga and his running mate, Hon Martha Karua, presented their documents to the committee today.
The two politicians are planning in order to gain an advantage over their opponents. As a result, Hon Raila Odinga and his team will now commence their campaigns to implement their strategic plans to counter and win the upcoming election.
Raila Odinga has been permitted to run in order for him to successfully and fearlessly succeed in his ambition. Mr Odinga hopes to succeed the present president, HE Uhuru Kenyatta.
Deputy President William Ruto, Professor George Wajackoyah of the Roots Party, Walter Mong'are of the Umoja Summit Party, and lawyer David Mwaura Waihiga of the Agano party are among the others.
Mr Odinga will lead the Azimio brigade to Undugu grounds in Lang'ata constituency for a midday demonstration following Bomas. Mr Odinga's presidential campaign press secretary Dennis Onsarigo stated, "He would next continue to Nakuru County.for roadside rallies commencing at 2pm and a large rally at Mazembe Grounds (Bondeni Ziwani at 4pm."
Mr. Odinga will deliver the Azimio manifesto, called "Inawezekana Agenda for Kenya," at the Nyayo National Stadium on Monday, June 6.
