Date And Venue For Kenya's 2022 Presidential Candidate Debate

The Presidential debate date and venue has been revealed. In a statement made by Secretariat Clifford, he said that the debate will be held on 26 July 2022. Various journalists have been selected to be moderators.

Mark Masai (NTV), Zubeidah Koome (KBC), Ayub Abdi (K24), Serfine Achieng’ (KTN News) and Citizen TV’s and Waihiga Mwaura will moderate the Nairobi gubernatorial debate. As the presidential debate will take place, other top debates will also happen in the same Month. The secreteriat revealed that Nairobi county gubernatorial debate will be held on 11 and that of deputy presidential candidate will be held on 19 of the same month.

Hon Raila Odinga, Prof George Wajackhoya, David Mwaure and DP William Ruto are yet to confirm their attendance to the debate. However, during a press meeting wit Citizen, NTV, KTN and KBC Raila revealed that in case the debate comes he will join.
