Kenya and Zambia Signs Six MOUs To Gear Up Bilateral Cooperation, HE Uhuru and Zambian President Hichilema Were the Witnesses



President Uhuru Kenyatta and His Excellency President Hichilema Hakainde of Zambia today at State House, Nairobi, witnessed the signing of six MOUs geared towards scaling up the bilateral cooperation between the two countries. The president witnessed the insinuation of the six MoU agreements.


The MOU that were signed today at statehouse are:

(i) Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on cooperation in the field of veterinary and animal health,

(ii) MOU on cooperation in the field of international relations studies and research,

(iii) MOU on cooperation in promotion of cooperatives,

(iv) MOU between the Kenya Tourism Federation (KTF) and the Tourism Council Zambia (TCZ),

(v) MOU between the Kenya Utalii College and the Zambia Institute for Tourism and Hospitality Studies,

(vi) MOU on cooperation in the field of information, communication and technology.

With these, the two countries are eying at gaining more strength in their cooperation. Kenya and Zambia will now be beyond the boundaries as business and various activities will be launched between the two countries. In the signed document, the two president's agreed that the policies and regulations will now be reviewed.
