Meru Residents Turned Out In Large Numbers To show Love For Hon Raila Odinga's Azimio Rally

 The Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya Alliance presidential candidate today took his major rally to Meru. Accompanied by various allies of the Coalition, Mr Odinga received more than notable warm welcoming. The crowd that turned out to attend the rally was extremely overwhelming. Mr Odinga was welcomed together with his deputy presidential candidate Hon Martha Karua.



Mr Odinga and his team promised the voters that they will deliver and give out their best work. They promised to improve the Agricultural sector, water and transport. The group that turned put to attend the rally showed their love for Hon Raila Odinga by cooperating with his speech. The fact that the turn up was so much more than the expected the Azimio leader was advised to continue visiting the region to certain his vote count.

Why The Turn Out Is Key In Odinga's Bid

The turn out for the rally in Meru u has switched the minds and how people view Mr Odinga. The fact that majority people thought that Mt Kenya region is a zone for the incumbent deputy president Dr William Ruto, things start to change as the rally in Meru indicated that Mr Odinga is somehow gaining a good vote count in the region. 

After a series of rallies in the region, Mr Odinga admitted that he has never held a rally that could be compared to the Meru Rally. The turnout has indicated how great value it can be when giving your ideas. It is a great bid now that the rally has indicated a potential love for the Azimio team. They will only be focused in approving and implementing new strategies to make everything work out easily.

Reactions From KKA Allies 

 He (Mr Odinga) has however faced attacks from the Kenya Kwanza Alliance KKA coalition allies as they storm him of Crowd transportation. The allies alleged that Mr Odinga only bought the crowd. One of those who gave their reaction is Dennis Itumbi who alleges that Mr Odinga has been exposed after a video of youths getting into a lorry emerged. Itumbi said that Mr Odinga had his crowd paid and they did not attend the rally as a matter of choice.
