Man Suspected Of Killing His Best Friend For Ritual Sacrifice Arrested By Police

Police in Kirinyanga county has arrested a man suspected of killing his best friend in what was alleged as ritual sacrifice. The police arrested him after a series of  investigations and manhunt. He was found in his place of hiding in Nanyuki He was then taken to Wang'uru police station as further investigations are underway.



The man is linked by secretly killing Stephen Murimi, a 31 year old motorist. The dead Stephen Murimi was found dumped in a septic tank. The body was investigated by the police and the final decision was made from the results DCI. It was revealed that Stephen was killed. After a series of investigations, police came to arrest the man whose identity was hidden. The victim was neatly wrapped in a bedsheet, raising suspicion that he was hacked to death as he slept in the suspect’s house. Items belonging to Murimi were found in a bedroom, including a pair of shoes, a jacket and underwear. Murimi’s family said he was lured to his death the previous week.

How He Enticed Murimi To Death Trap

Stephen Murimi on arrival told his family and close neighbors that he went to friends house. The man enticed Murimi that he had lot of money and has even bought his own car. To ascertain the story, he invited Murimi to his place. Out of curiosity, Murimi agreed to meet up with him and see for himself. On the other hand the suspect had promised to give him a motorcycle, so he couldn't hesitate. Little did he know that this was just a death trap. The suspect called his best friend and on the very night he killed him.

Family members became curious when Murimi failed to show up in the morning has he had promise. They then reported to the police after the suspect denied that he saw Murimi last night and investigations begun. The victim was neatly wrapped in a bedsheet, raising suspicion that he was hacked to death as he slept in the suspect’s house. Items belonging to Murimi were found in a bedroom, including a pair of shoes, a jacket and underwear. Murimi’s family said he was lured to his death the previous week.
